Navdy connects to your car when you plug it into your vehicle's onboard Diagnostics Port (OBD-II). This connection enables information about your car, such as fuel level and speed to be viewed on Navdy within Dash mode. In addition, the OBD-II port provides power to Navdy.
The information available to Navdy through the OBD-II port varies depending on make and model of your car along with the manufacturer's settings. Please refer to the manufacturer of your vehicle on which information they make available through the OBD-II port.
Navdy doesn't directly connect to your car's stereo, navigation system, or other bluetooth car accessories. Your phone can connect to your car's stereo via bluetooth, auxiliary line, or USB line, allowing audio playback through your vehicle's stereo.
