Navdy should be cleaned regularly to keep the image on the display clear and the mount securely connected to your dashboard. Here’s how to keep Navdy clean:
Your Navdy includes a carrying pouch that you can use to gently wipe dust and fingerprints from the lens. If you’ve lost your carrying pouch, you can use a microfiber cloth designed to clean electronics. When your Navdy is not in use, cover the lens with the lens cover to keep dust from getting on the lens.
Use the provided carrying pouch or any microfiber cloth to clean Navdy’s screen. If that doesn’t do the trick, use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. Please note that the screen is the small reflective rectangle on the opposite side of the Navdy logo, located on the front of Navdy.
Place a small amount of water on a paper towel and gently wipe the nonadhesive side of the mount until visible dirt is removed. We suggest allowing the mount to fully dry before securing it to your car's dashboard.
To remove dust that accumulates on Navdy:
- Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dust.
- Use a compressed air duster to remove dust.
